GENERAL ASSESSMENT
In line with its mission to “accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy”, Tesla avoided approximately 20 Mt CO₂e in emissions through its products in 2023, while having shifted all of its operational electricity demand to renewable sources and its Supercharger network to 100% renewable energy. However, as company-wide ISO-based certification and independent data verification are not yet in place, areas for improvement in transparency and stakeholder trust remain despite its strong environmental performance.
